"I started my journey by receiving an introductory flight from a local flight school. After that I discovered a passion for aviation and I then applied for a scholarship from a Non-Profit organization (Triple Tree Aerodrome), which I won. I then spent a year taking flying lessons to prepare for my PPL checkride.
My next steps are to enroll in a Part 141 college to earn a degree and also earn the reduction in hours required to fly airlines.
My ultimate steps are to earn enough hours as a CFI to then be eligible for the airlines.
My advice to peers would be that weather can sometimes be unpredictable, so make sure you know the weather you are flying in and it is within your minimums."
