Become a Remote Pilot

The AEO supports training that leads to becoming a Remote Pilot —also known as a Commercial Drone Pilot. Becoming a pilot of unmanned aircraft by earning your Remote Pilot certificate is a great career choice in itself, as well as a stepping stone on your journey to becoming a pilot of manned aircraft.  Drones and airliners must share the same airspace and follow the rules established by the Federal Aviation Administration. Much of the subject matter on the FAA Remote Pilot test is the same as on the written test for Private Pilot. And, becoming a Remote Pilot is the fastest and most affordable way to start getting paid to fly. No in-person training is necessary.  The process is outlined here:

However, in-person and hands-on training is better. Contact Us to have your in-person Remote Pilot training course listed here.
